In addition to creating beautiful pieces, I also offer guidance on maintaining the natural beauty of wood. In a "nutshell":
DO NOT immerse in water.
Clean using warm soapy water, and dry immediately. DO NOT use the engraved side without a plastic cover. You can purchase them on Amazon. Or just use the opposite side. Oil the boards every couple of months with a FOOD GRADE OIL. You can normally find it next to cutting boards in your local super center.
